The Name Says it all
As the name implies SimpleWills is an online service that allows a cost-effective way to write a Will.
Every New Zealander who has an asset of any kind whether it be cash, property, managed fund investments, chattels or bank savings, should have a Will regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.
The reasons are many and varied but primarily a Will ensures wishes and intent are watertight.

Nicola Smee
General Manager and a Director of SimpleWills
Nicola is also the General Manager and a Director of mySolutions Ltd, and is passionate about seeing people succeed and flourish in their careers.
She wants’ “Every New Zealander to have their financial affairs in order and assets going to the people and causes they care about most”.
An experienced executive, she has held various leadership roles with Insurance Dealer Groups; Ginger Group, Kepa and now mySolutions Group, all being professional services providers to the financial services industry.
Passionate about the delivery of highest quality advice and service to New Zealanders her mantra is, ‘It’s the little things done right that will make a big difference!”
She also promotes and mentors’ other women in business leadership, so that they may enjoy the same success and fulfilment in their own careers.
Tony Vidler
Director of SimpleWills
Tony has been working in the NZ financial services industry in advisory and management capacities since June 1990, beginning as an insurance agent. Over the years he has been involved in agency management roles; started, grown and sold a sizeable investment and insurance brokerage business; been involved in business development work with dozens of adviser practices; heavily involved in professional development and the evolution of regulation in the industry; executive sales and marketing management with a major institution; and been a leading figure in the financial services industry.
He is a former Institute of Financial Advisers Director for 8 years, and the Chairman of the Board for the professional body for 2 of those years. He has also held prior significant leadership positions within the Institute such as Chair of the Professional Development Committee, Chair of the College of Insurance Advisers, and a member of the Certification Committee. Tony has also been a director of several other SME businesses, and remains a practicing adviser. Tony is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Advisers and currently a Director with mySolutions Ltd, AdviceNet Ltd and Strictly Business Ltd.

Glen Hatcher is a Director of mySolutions and also a long-standing Financial Adviser.
He joined the Financial Services industry in 2008 from a successful career of 22 years in the Armed Services of New Zealand.
From there Glen has been involved in the training and education of new Financial Advisers whilst running his own successful company. He enjoys mentoring and developing the skillsets of those in his industry and watching them succeed.
Over these years he has seen the impact of every day New Zealanders not having their affairs in order; especially when it comes to not having a Will, so has dedicated himself to help solve this issue.
With a vast knowledge in leadership and training, Glen’s passion is simply for people to be informed and have the power to make their own decisions for themselves. With a nudge and gentle hand to guide them through, making every day New Zealanders lives better for their futures is his business.

Bernard McCrea
Founder of SimpleWills, Dip- PFP, DipBank DipBA SFFIN.
Bernard has worked in the New Zealand finance sector since 1987. He founded SimpleWills as he saw the need for a cost effective Will that enabled people to have their assets protected.
An experienced Executive with Trustee Executors, AIA, Sovereign, & TOWER, he continually saw the need for the public to have access to simple planning tools.
He is Patron of Rosebank Business Association and Chairman of the NZ council of the Financial Services Institution of Australasia.
