SimpleWills is owned and operated by Taifead Holdings Limited (we, us or our). We work hard to comply with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1993 (Act). The collection of personal information by us is important to enable us to provide the SimpleWills product and related services (Services).

Our Services allow us to prepare Wills for agents, advisers or brokers on behalf of their clients. As a result of this, when we talk about you or your in this Policy, we are referring both to the person who is the maker of the Will, as well as their agent, adviser or broker.

In order to enable us to provide our Services, we will collect certain information from you. Where this information is inaccurate or incomplete, we may not be able to correctly provide the Services, so it is important that it is correct.

- your name, contact details, address, job description and date of birth
- information relating to your personal, family and financial circumstances, including the assets you own
- information that you provide to us at the time of registering with us or while engaging our Services
- correspondence with you in connection with our Services
- further details relating to any transactions that you carry out with us.

- preparing a Will for you
- processing any requests that you may have
- developing our Services
- contacting you in relation to our Services where necessary
- administering transactions and other matters in relation to our Services

We will take all reasonable care to keep any information held by us safe from any loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure.
We will only retain personal information for as long as it is required for the purposes for which the information may lawfully be used.

We will generally not disclose personal information that is provided or collected through this website, unless it is necessary to undertake our Services, or where you consent. We may collect statistical information about your visits to our website to help us improve this website. This information is aggregated and non-personally identifying and will be viewable by site administrators and certain other staff.
